His thorough knowledge of subject matter allows him to adjudicate sections at a high level with an in-depth delivery during adjudication line ups, incorporating explanation of technical requirements and expectancy and the know how from personal professional performing experience, of how competitors can develop further. This is usually delivered with inclusion of all competitors to absorb, yet still with fun and a great rapport all round.

His expertise specialises in Classical Ballet, Repertoire, Modern & Abstract Ballet, Tap (European & American), Modern, Song & Dance, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro, Folkloric National, Greek, Vocal and Drama.

Craig has recently finished performing as the Zither Man and covering the roles of Baron Von Kurtz and Major Calloway in the World premiere of The Third Man musical thriller directed by Sir Trevor Nunn at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Also, he recently played the role of Château Lafitte in the Trompe L’Oeil musical at the Other Palace Theatre, London.

In 2022, Craig performed the role of Mingo in the five star spectacular musical Crazy For You directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman at the Chichester Festival Theatre. Before this he was starring on Broadway as lead vocalist and show host/compare in SMILE at the Town Hall Theatre, New York.

Craig’s career path is immense and has taken him from feature film, to stage and theatre, from drama series on television to commercial endorsements. After 18 years performing in London’s west end and then seven years in the United States including musicals on Broadway and national theatre tours in Las Vegas, Reno, Germany, South Africa and Canada, Craig has seen and done the lot.

Some of his UK and US theatre credits include the original 42nd Street, Me & My Girl, Mack & Mabel, La Cage Aux Folles, Man of La Mancha, Song & Dance, Follies Royale, Grease and many, many more. He has toured as backing vocalist with such legends as Gladys Knight, Tom Jones, Jennifer Holliday, Melba Moore, Tina Turner, Elton John and Tommy Tune in the US and also produced, directed, devised and choreographed many productions for cruise lines, hotels and corporate events Worldwide.

Craig has also played featured roles in feature films, drama soap operas, commercials and two Royal Variety Performances. Well, he has actually performed for all the Royal family of the UK, Denmark, Spain, Monaco and Dubai.

As another forte, Craig is a professional adjudicator for the British and International Federation of Music, Dance and Drama Festivals Worldwide with a widespread knowledge in all genres. He is also a DWC, TDCI, Miss Dance & Dance Master panel adjudicator.

Craig regularly lectures on dance and musical theatre subjects with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD), British Teachers of Dance (BTDA) and was on the South East area Theatre Dance Council Committee for eight years with the IDTA.

In 2015, 2016 and 2017, Craig was commissioned to stage and choreograph the prestigious annual International Dance Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, working with over 500+ International dancers including Principals from the Royal Ballet. This gave Craig much critical acclaim and award nominations for creating outstanding choreography and staging.

In 2015, Craig was asked to stage the Bharatanatyam and Ghatak routines for the winner of BBC Young Dancer of the Year. Craig has also made history by devising and producing the first ever online digital performing arts festival during ‘Lockdown’ in 2020, which enabled competitors globally to enter and compete in festivals.

Craig also choreographs and stages for the professional tours for Operas and Ballets with productions such as La Traviata (Royal Albert Hall), Madame Butterfly (Royal Albert Hall), La Boheme (Int. tour) and most recently six productions of AIDA (Int. tours).

Craig has been a specialist tutor at many of the top full-time vocational colleges in the country and still offers classes and workshops Worldwide. He also successfully ran his own full-time vocational college for 13 years.
